Today's prompt I decided to use lines taken from an outside text, Walt Whitman's "I sing the body electric" and also write phrases that oppose each other in some way.
Electric
Electric
blood red
the body electric
sky's on fire
as our bodies
conceal themselves
the blood showed
like scarlet
through our laughing
flesh
the female form
a chalice
the tender vapor of
our limbs at auction
cordoned off
separate
we are sellable
we are worthy for
advertisement
our fibered bodies
all of it notable
even the bones
and the marrow
in the bones
and the thin red
jellies within us
our suns rise in us
scorch our bodies
electric
